STORYCOURSE PRESENTS
A JEWISH THEATRICAL CULINARY EXPERIENCE
4 JOURNEYS. 4 STORIES. 4 COURSES.
LANDING ON YOUR PLATE.
NOVEMBER 7 — DECEMBER 20, 2025

FOUR STORIES.
FOUR COURSES.
ONE SHARED TABLE.
StoryCourse: Diaspora is an immersive, four-course dinner that takes guests through a theatrical journey tracing the migration stories of four Jewish families — from Ethiopia, Iran, Mexico, and Ukraine — landing in New York City.
The evening invites audiences to taste the global tapestry of Jewish experience, where recipes carry memory, and flavor becomes language. Each story reveals a different way of making home, honoring heritage, and redefining belonging.
WHERE
THEATRE
MEETS
FOOD.
StoryCourse is a culinary entertainment collective redefining what can happen when we break down the walls between the kitchen and the dining room; when we excavate the space between food and its inspiration. World-class artistry meets the shared table, landing on your plate.
Each experience fuses culinary mastery, live performance, and communal storytelling into an unforgettable sensory journey — taking us inside the highs, lows, and homecomings of the chefs we feature.
-
Founded by a collective of Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award-winning artists, chefs, and producers, StoryCourse has pioneered a new genre of experiential storytelling — one that nourishes both body and soul.
The evening unfolds in chapters — each short play or vignette culminating in a dish that transforms story into taste. As the course is shared, the room fills with conversation and connection until the lights dim once more. By the final act, the line between stage and table has dissolved, and everyone present has become part of the story.
Our past productions — from PrideTable and How Do You Hug a Tiger? to the viral Saturday Night Seder — have sold out every run and earned acclaim from The New York Times, Food & Wine, Eater, CBS News, and The Today Show.
THE FOUNDING
STORY
Founded by Benj Pasek (EGOT Award-winning creator of Dear Evan Hansen, La La Land, and The Greatest Showman), Adam Kantor (Grammy and Emmy Award-winning star of Broadway’s RENT and The Band’s Visit), & Brian Bordainick (founder of Dinner lab), StoryCourse began as a bold experiment in immersive storytelling and soon grew into a creative movement. From sold-out live productions to Saturday Night Seder — which reached over 1.5 million viewers and raised over $3.5 million for COVID relief — StoryCourse has shown that connection can be art, and art can be nourishment.
We continue to build experiences that feed both body and soul — gatherings where flavor, feeling, and story meet to remind us that we all belong at the table.
